Just Juniors Crèche was founded in 1994 by Mr A and Mrs R Chetty, driven by a heartfelt desire to create a safe environment within the community — a place where parents could leave their children knowing they would be cared for and educated with love and dedication. What began as a small crèche with just two class groups has grown steadily into a thriving educational centre with nine class groups, expanding its classrooms and facilities to meet the growing needs of families.
Just Juniors is registered with the Department of Education, the Department of Social Welfare, and the Department of Health, giving parents the assurance that our standards meet the highest levels of regulatory compliance. Early Childhood Education Programmes for Every Age
Baby Care — 4 Months to 2½ Years
Early childhood education at Just Juniors begins at the very start of life. Our dedicated baby room caters for infants from as young as four months up to two and a half years. The room is fully equipped with cots and mattresses, a microwave, thermal flask, and kitchen utensils. A dedicated change room with low pan toilets supports potty training milestones, while age-appropriate toys, a hard plastic jungle gym and slide, and a TV with educational videos keep babies stimulated and engaged throughout the day.
Playgroup Through to Grade R
For older children, Just Juniors follows a structured programme tailored to each age group, offering a balanced blend of indoor play, outdoor activity, and dedicated learning time. Educational toys provided by the school enrich indoor sessions, while outdoor time on the jungle gym, swings, and trampolines encourages physical development and social interaction. All class groups incorporate life skills themes into their learning programme, giving children a broad and relevant understanding of their everyday environment.
Grade R Readiness — Prepared for Primary School
Grade RR and Grade R learners follow a CAPS-aligned readiness programme designed to equip them with the literacy, numeracy, and social skills needed to enter Grade 1 with full confidence. Our approach ensures that no child steps into their next chapter unprepared.
A Safe, Stimulating Place to Learn and Grow
Safety is a cornerstone of everything we do at Just Juniors. Our facility is equipped with CCTV surveillance, a library, a computer room, an indoor play area, and a fully equipped outdoor playground with a jungle gym, swings, and trampolines. Lunch is provided for all learners daily, and safe, reliable transport to and from home is also available for added convenience.
